Latest, greatest character creator for the greatest superhero roleplaying game (and others)
Ok. Time for the first post with real meat in it.
I do not like the official character creator for the HeroSystem roleplaying game. I dislike it so much I wrote my own. I offered it to Hero Games, and they had sold the rights to sell a character creator to another company, so their hands were tied. The other company tried to tell me I couldn't do it.
Well, you can't copyright game rules, and as long as I give credit to Hero Games for all of their trademarks, I'm in the clear. So here they are:
A couple of things to notice:
- No Apple support. I can't afford a dedicated mac to build and test with. GitHub can help me build it but really can't help me test it. Sorry, if you want it, send me an old apple laptop that has the non-intel chips in it and a good amount of memory, and the compiler installed and licensed ($$$) and the MacOS version will be created. Not on the Apple store mind you, that's more money on top of the hardware and software developer license.
- Android support is via an APK file. You'll need to side load it. Plenty of videos out there to show you how to do it. Google wants money to use the App Store.
